pedagogies for change
Interested in exploring work that links learning with relationships, and with real change? Want to deepen and extend your practice – or work with others around their thinking, feelings and processes?
I am part of a small company – Developing Learning – that works with people to think about, and implement, changes in the way they work with children, young people, families and communities.
The focus is on developing everyday work with children, young people, families and communities. Sometimes described as informal education, community learning and development, or social pedagogy, important innovations are being made in different sectors. These include residential care, specialist education, mainstream schooling, youth projects, churches, housing and outdoor learning.
New articles will point to some of these developments, and the issues and contexts they address. There are also details here of some of the work we do.
